Product standard: BS EN598:2002
Quality checks at every stage of manufacturing:
1) Strict selection of raw material is an indispensable requirement
to produce quality ductile iron pipes and fittings.
2) We produces liquid metal suited to manufacture ductile iron
pipes. The liquid metal is further processed in induction furnaces.
It is then treated with magnesium for modularization and
transferred to the centrifugal spun casting machines.
3) The pipes are heat treated, zinc coated, hydrostatically tested,
tested, cement mortar lined and finished with a layer of bitumen
coating.
4) The in process inspection and quality control at all points
during the production cycle is strictly maintained and documented
as ISO9001 quality systems.
PU Ductile Iron Pipe is ductile iron pipe with a polyurethane
coating, polyurethane coating is made of bi-component polyurethane
materials to a scale, and not only does it serve as the
inner-lining material of nodular castiron pipe, but as related
outer errosion resistant coating. Polyurethane coating has many
advantages such as wonderful abrasive resistance, excellent
corrosion resistance, non-permeation, smmoth surface, small
resistance coeffecient, few volatile organic compound,remarkable
environmental protection property, ect. Some polyurethane coatings
with a thickness of 900μm,are mainly applied to
transportingcorrosive mediums or the mediums with high sanitary
condition, including soft water, desalination seawater, municipal
wastewater, industrial wastewater, and others; and some with
thickness above 700μm are mainly applied to the soil environment
with strong corrosivity such as the soil polluted by industrial
wastewater or with low specific resistance.

Usage:
Much of the production of ductile iron is in the form of ductile
cast iron pipe, used for water and sewer lines. Ductile cast iron pipe is stronger and easier to tap, requires less support and provides
greater flow area compared with pipes made from other materials
like PVC, concrete, polyethylene or steel. Ductile Iron Pipe is the
most widely-used pipeline product in water supply and water
drain/sewage projects.
